Bruce White grew up with 6 siblings and his mother and they had to rely on community to get by.

A good job at the paper mill after high school helped to lift him out of poverty.

When the mill shut down, job training programs allowed him the opportunity to start a career as a computer technician.

Now, he feels it's his turn to give back to his community and make sure these opportunities are available for all Maine families.
